Forerunners & the Flood

Alright first off.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

If you've seen the ending to Halo 3,watched Halo: Legends,and saw the Halo 4 trailer then you've pretty much figured out that Master Chief is chillin' above the Forerunner homeworld.

END SPOILER!!!

So I'm thinking that you'll most likely run into the Flood again...for the 4th time. And you'll probably be going up against more Forerunner robots as well.

Any thoughts? Let's discuss.

Before anyone whines abouts the spoiler alert I put up there I'm gonna get my 2¢ in. I simply assume not everyone has seen all the videos or played all the games. Plus not everyone enjoys spoilers.

Yea but do you really think halo 4,5 and 6 will simply be a zombie game mixed in with robots? How much story can really be told there. In that scene master chief joins with the robots stomps some flood then the robots try to kill him with their containment procedures. Thats already been told.

Of course I am worried about weapon choices. If he is the only human than he only has the weapons in that derelict ship and after that.... what is he using? I hated the forerunner beam gun.

They'll probably have that beam gun again. Maybe that beam sword they had in Legends... Probably some rapid fire weapons too.

Lets be honest if people liked beam weapons everyone would grab the focus rifle. Halo players like bullets. They don't like the plasma repeater,pistol,rifle...ect ect anything.

I wonder if master cheif will establish a base so we can keep our human weapons. Or will they be some magically replicator technology. I think Halo 1 worked was because of the guerrilla warfare tactics we had to employ to survive. So should Master chief becomes stationary instead of mobile.... well I am a bit worried.

It made sense in Halo CE for guerrilla warfare. It'll make sense in 4 as well I guess,but chances are Chief will be rockin' energy weapons. Unless there were weapons "conveniently" on his half the destroyed ship. And then said weapons "conveniently" fall onto the planet. And not get destroyed in reentry.

I think the Forerunner novels that are coming out in 2012 will lay the super-early foundation for Halo 4. It's a good segue into the game.

As far as the flood is concerned, I believe they were left out of one of the games due to time constraints. I seem to recall that from the 4 part game-trailers special that was on Inside Xbox this week.

Ok I want my level 12 combat skin then. If I am on the forerunner world, sitting with their tech then they should hook a guy up with some sweet new armor.

I doubt they'd let you get your hands on that stuff.

But at that point we have been waiting for eleven years.
